      The empathy, affection and care for animals that permeates Zvezdana’s poetry helps children develop into more responsible adults. To be able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and help them when they need a hand are values that children wholeheartedly like to internalise. Let’s teach them that we are also delicate velvet beings.
